You'll Go Crazy for these Caramel Bacon Buns-- Super Easy to Make Too!

My girlfriend made these for the Bacon Potluck that I hosted last week.
They were absolutely amazing and she said this was one of the easiest things she ever made!
We enjoyed them for dessert, but these would be great for brunch as well!

Caramel Bacon Buns

Ingredients:
1 can of 10 Buttermilk Pillsbury Biscuits
1 lb of Cooked, Crispy, and Crumbled Bacon
1 jar of Caramel Sauce (about 1.5 cups)

Special Equipment:
2 standard Cupcake/Muffin pans

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take one Muffin pan and place the other aside.
Fill the bottom of 10 of the cups nicely with caramel sauce.
Layer the Caramel with a good amount of bacon pieces and top it with a biscuit.
Place the second muffin pan on top of the biscuits, this will keep them from puffing up too much.
Bake them for 12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
Let them cool.
Place a baking sheet or  plate over the muffin pan and flip it over. For the most part, the buns should easily pop out. If necessary, use a butter knife to give the buns a little push out.
Don't leave any bacon behind! Be sure to scoop out whatever bacon was left behind and add it to the top of the buns.

Enjoy these sweet and salty ooey gooey caramelly bacon buns!

Crescent Roll Pizza Bites--- Fun For the Kids to Make and Eat!

Looks good, huh? Would you believe me if I said they are as simple as String Cheese, Peperoni, and Crescent Rolls? Well believe it!
I have really been trying to get my kids involved in cooking as many meals as possible, they are really enjoying it. I think it is so important to know how to cook, plus we really enjoy some quality time together while we cook. My kids were absolutely ecstatic when I told them what we were making-- they LOVE crescent rolls and cheese sticks are their absolute favorite snack. They thought it was so cool that we were cooking with cheese sticks!

Only 4 Ingredients :)
Crescent Rolls (I used the big and flaky ones)
Pepperoni Slices
Cheese Sticks, cut in half
Sauce for Dipping

Separate the crescent rolls. Put 2 slices of peperoni and a half of a cheese stick on the wide end of the crescent roll.

Roll them up, starting with the end that has the peperoni and the cheese and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake them in the oven on 350 degrees for about 11-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Eat them as is or serve them with some sauce on the side.
When you bite into them, the cheese is nice and stringy-- YUM!
Enjoy!

Sopapilla Cheesecake~~ My Favorite Dessert!!

This is my absolute favorite dessert and it is definitely a "Go To" recipe when I have to bring a dessert somewhere. It only takes about 5 minutes to prepare and 20 or so minutes in the oven, but it tastes like you slaved in the kitchen for hours!  The great thing is that you can always keep the ingredients on hand because both cream cheese and crescent rolls have a pretty long shelf life in the refrigerator. You can't go wrong with this dessert, try it and you'll see!

Sopapilla Cheesecake

Ingredients:
-2 cans pillsbury butter crescent rolls
-2 (8oz) packages cream cheese (softened)
-1 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-1/4 cup butter (melted)
-Cinnamon & sugar

Instructions:
Unroll and spread 1 can crescent rolls on bottom of un-greased pan. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Unroll and spread the second package of crescent rolls over mixture. Brush melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

You can serve this warm or cold, depending on your preference, I enjoy it both ways. Be sure to refrigerate for long periods of time.

* You can easily half this recipe using an 8x8 pan and splitting 1 roll of crescent rolls for the top and the bottom.

*Don't have cinnamon and sugar at home? See my post for making your own cinnamon sugar in seconds. It is quick and easy to make and so much cheaper than purchasing it premixed in the store.
